How do you become an astronaut for NASA? <\/h2>\n

In order to be eligible for the Astronaut Candidate Program, applicants must have either 2 years of professional experience or 1,000 hours of pilot-in-command time in jet aircraft. Jet aircraft experience is typically obtained through the military.<\/p>\n
