The company has an active launch manifest for 38 launches: 27 for NASA, six for other government partners including Secure World Foundation and Al Yah Satellite Communications Company, and six launches of its own Falcon family of rockets. IIt is headquartered in Hawthorne, California.
SpaceX is a private company, so unfortunately you cannot just go and visit their facilities. However, they do offer tours of their launch facilities for those interested in seeing where and how they send their rockets into space!
Can you see SpaceX satellites?
SpaceX’s 55 Starlink satellites will be visible in the night sky from west to north. The best chance to view the satellites will be around 6:45 pm, but they may only be visible for a few minutes. The satellites reflect sunlight, which makes them visible in the night sky.

The LC-39 Observation Gantry is the closest viewing area to the launch pads on Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. You can witness liftoff of the rocket from the launch pad and enjoy shaded viewing from the gantry and outdoor bleacher seating. This is the premium launch viewing area.
Can I see SpaceX launch outside
There are many great places to view rockets launches outside of the Kennedy Space Center complex. Some of the best spots include along the shores of the Indian River Lagoon, the Exploration Tower in Port Canaveral, Playalinda Beach at the Canaveral National Seashore, the US Astronaut Hall of Fame in Titusville, the Westgate Cocoa Beach Pier, and any of the beaches south of Canaveral National Seashore. All of these locations offer great views of rocket launches and are definitely worth checking out!
The satellites move so fast that they can travel around the world in just 90 minutes. Every 90 minutes, they return to the same point (but a little further away). That’s why sometimes you can see them again within 2 hours of a previous sighting.
