What shuttle is at NASA Houston?
Space Shuttle Independence is a full-scale replica of the Space Shuttle, built by Guard-Lee in Apopka, Florida. It was installed at Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in 1993, and moved to Space Center Houston in 2012. The replica is an exact copy of the Space Shuttle, and includes all of the same features and components.
Please note that the return bus tour will take approximately 2 hours. The first hour will be spent at the Saturn V exhibition, after which you will be able to get another bus back that will take 15 minutes. You are free to spend as much time as you want at the Saturn exhibition, as there is a lot to see.
