NASA Television will provide live coverage of the docking of the SpaceX Crew Dragon spacecraft with the International Space Station (ISS) on Sunday, March 7. The docking is scheduled to occur at approximately 10:30 a.m. EST (7:30 a.m. PST), as the spacecraft approaches the ISS from below.
This will be the first time that a commercial spacecraft has docked with the ISS, and it will mark a major milestone in the commercialization of spaceflight. The Crew Dragon is carrying two NASA astronauts, Robert Behnken and Douglas Hurley, who will become the first crew to launch from American soil since the Space Shuttle program ended in 2011.
