SpaceX is a private American aerospace manufacturer and space transport services company founded in 2002 by Elon Musk. The company has developed the Falcon 1 and Falcon 9 launch vehicles, both designed to be reusable. SpaceX also manufactures the Dragon spacecraft, which is flown into orbit by the Falcon 9 launch vehicle to supply the International Space Station (ISS) with cargo, and bring back cargo to Earth.
There are multiple ways to watch a SpaceX rocket launch. One can watch it in person at the launch site, Canaveral National Seashore in Florida. SpaceX is scheduled to launch its next Falcon 9 rocket today, October 7th, at 1:31 PM EDT (17:31 UTC). The rocket will be carrying the SAOCOM 1B satellite for the Argentine Space Agency.

The Falcon 9 rocket will be launched from Space Launch Complex 40 (SLC-40) at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station in Florida. The launch window is two hours long.
This will be SpaceX’s first launch from SLC-40 since the Falcon 9 rocket explosion in September 2016.

The Main Visitor Complex at the Kennedy Space Center offers a free viewing area for rocket launches. This area is located next to Space Shuttle Atlantis on North Atlantis Lawn. With your daily admission to the Kennedy Space Center, you can access this viewing area at no extra cost.

Tickets for rocket launches are typically available in addition to daily admission to the launch site. You may be able to purchase tickets ahead of time or on the day of the launch, depending on availability. Check the event calendar for upcoming launches and launch viewing opportunities.
The “LC-39 Observation Gantry” at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex is the closest possible launch viewing of any rocket launch from Cape Canaveral. Tickets can be bought through the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex to launch a viewing of the rocket 23 miles away.
